David and Peg were looking to build a street rod. While walking the pits in Bakersfield at the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion, they came across a United Pacific Industries 5 Window body on display. David recalled seeing the same body used on a project we did for Vic Edelbrock. David and Peg purchased the Coupe and came to us to talk about doing this project. The first thing on their list was the motor. A Shafiroff 509 C.I. built off the 409 platform. Second was to put a Tremic 5 speed behind it. The full fendered 32 will be painted and finished soon. Keep an eye on the progress as the build goes along.
