Paul Bonderson - 1939 Ford Pick Up

Having just finished Paul’s 35 Ford Panel, his next project is under way. This time it’s a 1939 Ford Pick Up. Rather than a late model running gear, Paul has switched it up and gone a more traditional route. The stock frame rails have been fitted with a dropped axle with split wishbones in front and a nine inch rear end with leaf springs out back. The power is supplied by an H & H flat head motor with a Scott Blower sitting on top, and the Trans is a five speed. The body and paint is being done at Camilleri’s in Sacramento. Paul Camilleri has lengthened the cab four inches. This means he had to move the bed back. Paul then centered the rear fenders in the bed keeping the stock wheel base. The Brizio crew is hard at it to finish before the Grand National Roadster Show in January, check out the finished product there.
