This Model A Pickup is owned by Chet and Terrie Van Scyoc of Jackson, California
Recently the crew at Brizio Street Rods had the pleasure of building a Model A pickup for Chet and Terrie Van Scyoc. The couple lives in Jackson, California and own RC Country Hobbies, a huge radio control super store in Sacramento. Chet started off with a Model A Coupe that he and Terrie loved to putt around in. Then came the muscle car, a Camaro Pace car. After attending a Goodguy’s show, a 1932 Coupe was added to the stable. Chet always wanted a pickup street rod, so the call to Brizio’s was made. As you check out the photos that follow, you will see that Chet wanted some muscle in this hot rod too. An H.O. small block Chevy, two carbs, five-speed gearbox and two gas tanks to make it go, and four-wheel disc brakes to get it to slow. If you are ever in the Sacramento area, stop by RC Country and check out the shop. We don’t know too many people that are into cars that aren’t into toys.
