A few years ago, John purchased a ’35 Ford Woodie from an auction. John’s love for early Ford’s had him
torn between leaving this one stock, or doing a number on it and make it a neat street rod. The compromise
was a little of both. On the street rod side, we substituted the stock running gear for a small block Chevy, a
Tremec 5 speed and a 9” Ford rear end, along with front disc brakes. Leaving the body and stance stock
allows John to see what Henry had in mind, and John ends up with the best of both worlds.
