Bob Schneider, with the help of Dee Wescott, the originator of Wescott’s fiberglass bodies, built this car in 1958. While living in Oregon, Jim rode in this car in 1960. It was for sale and Jim never forgot about it. Over the years, it was sold many times, stored in pieces, and then partially reassembled. Jim had always wondered what happened to the car, and finally was able to locate it. The Wescott family and the whole street rodding industry lost Dee last year. Fortunately, Dee’s family agreed to sell Jim the car. Now after 50 years, it will finally be finished.
