Bill owned a Deuce Coupe back in his early driving years. After he sold it, a number of years passed and the urge to own another 3 Window got to him. Enter Boyd Cottington. Bill met Boyd and a project was put together. Almost 30 years later, Bill wanted his pride and joy made new again. After receiving the car from Mass. the redo was under way. The 3 Window was blown apart, every nut and bolt. All the chrome was re-plated. What was needed to be painted was sprayed with the same yellow. We did make a couple of changes, a new Chevy motor and a Tremic 5 speed replaced the Doug Nash 4 speed. Sid Chavers will be stitching up a whole new interior. It has been fun restoring this project of one of the icon builders of street rods.
